Lock 'n' Roll is a dice-based puzzle game, designed for quick, enjoyable play. A single game typically takes less than five minutes, making it ideal for casual play during downtime.

Gameplay consists of placing different colored dice on a 4-by-4 gameboard; once the board is full and no more dice can be placed, the game is over. The goal is to score as many points as possible by matching various combinations of four dice, either by number or color. Each turn players are given four random dice that they must place in an empty slot on the board. Once dice are placed, they cannot be moved, forcing players to make the best of the situation.

There are 20 different scoring positions on the gameboard that are totaled at the end of each round. Like poker, certain combinations score higher than other, such as four-of-a-kind. Additionally, scoring certain combinations will remove dice from the gameboard, allowing play to continue longer and additional points to be scored. If enough points are scored, players are given wild cards to place over dice. These cards make the dice their most valuable possibility for scoring purposes. All of these different elements combined make for an incredibly complex game in a simple package.

Overall, Lock 'n' Roll is a very addictive game that's fun and quick to play, but hard to put down.
